Leonardo (Lucca's Leonardo of Island Alpaca)

Leonardo what an absolutely stunning male!

We entered Leonardo’s juvenile fleece in the 2017 Big E Alpaca Fleece Show and we were very happy with the results. Leonardo won First Place, Best Crimp, Best Brightness AND Judge’s Choice! We couldn’t be more proud!

This young male a solid representation of his sire, our very own Estrada's Lucca of Island Alpaca, who has won two Champions and 13 First Place Ribbons. Lucca's sire,

CT Estrada, is an 8x Champion who has won over 30 First Place Ribbons! Lucca's grandsires are the very famous Snowmass Legacy Gold and Snowmass Royal Rose.

Leonardo's dam, Lunette of Island Alpaca has won two Champions herself and four First Place Ribbons. Her dam, Island Alpaca Luna has been awarded a First Place Ribbon. Lunette's sire, Magic's Talon, has won a Champion and eight First Place Ribbons.

Leonardo's fleece is coming in very nicely, high frequency crimp and very fine. His personalilty is fantasitc, very patient and sweet just like his dam and sire. We look forward to watching him grow and we are excited to show him in the future!

Color: Medium Brown

Lunette is a marvel! Fine lustrous crimp that is very dense and bright. She takes after he dam, withblue ribbons in hand and a color champion!

Lunette, showed and placed at the Big E Alpaca Show. With seven alpaca in her class, she took a first place, blue-ribbon win, and color champion for browns competing along side, over 20 alpaca in total. Even more impressive, once again Lunette, was awarded the blue in the "Bred and Owned" class a most competitive class of fifteen alpaca with many white blue-ribbon winners competing. Very impressive for a brown!

Lunette is a very sweet girl who is extremely easy to handle. Fantastic on a halter and very easy to work with.

Lunette's first cria Larissa is just as beautiful as her and Lunette's amazing fleece qualities have been passed down to her gorgeous brown daughter. Larissa has amazing tight and bold crimped fleece that is very dense but also really fine.

We are really looking forward to seeing how her future cria turn out to be!

Color: Light Fawn

Recent News Flash: Lucca does it again. Blue ribbonfor Fleece at the 2015 MAPACA Jubilee in Pennsylvania... And what a history:  Lucca won thecolor champion at the 2011 New England Alpaca Classic show! He was also awarded the reserve champion for the Tennessee Waltz 2013 Spin-Off. Lucca has won blue ribbons multiple times, 12 to be exact, this is very impressive for a male with a light color like his and for the amount of shows we are able to participate in.

Lucca is an incredible male who has very fine and tight crimped fleece. The fleece is very uniform and he has an amazing stature! He's phenotype is spot on with a wonderful conformation, a perfect bite, a strong frame, and a very pleasing look. He has nice long legs and a great top knot similar to the genetic trait clearly present also in his brother Khan D'Or.

Lucca's sire is our very own CT Estrada who has to his credit eight multiple champions and over 30 blues. His dam is Golden Frida and her sire, the well notedSnowmass Legacy Gold
