Island Alpaca offers these alpacas that form the underlying success of the breeding program at our farm. Our herd sires are offered for outside services, and we offer multiple breeding discounts. Drive-by breedings are available at a discount.
Our working herd sires are well decorated, either born as offspring to award winning parentage or ribbon holders themselves. Together they offer an wonderful selection of quality and value.

2 breedings: Offered at a 10% off total breed-fee, 3 breedings, a 20% off total breed-fee. (To be scheduled and/or purchased within one year.) *for breedings scheduled before April 1, 2011.
Farm-Stay package:
Should you be visiting the island for a breeding (either drive-by or farm-stay breeding) you can be our guests for the night in your own private home! (Subject to availability.) Please view our homes on our Accommodations Page.

We are very proud and excited to offer the services of a multiple (9X) champion and blue-ribbon winner (26 blues in total!), CT Estrada. After proving himself in the show-ring so many times, he has found his way to proving himself as a producer of exceptional offspring. Estrada has very dense, fine fleece, with a high-frequency crimp all over, great coverage and conformation. April 25, 2009, alpaca judge wrote, "Very stunning fleece-incredibly fine and uniform throughout! Dense and bright."

Most recently Madigan took a Blue Ribbon and a Reserve Championship at the Big E, in West Springfield. Madigan is quite the guy at his first show, he took home his first and only ribbon, a blue in a most competitive class at the 2008 North American Alpaca Show, and most recently a blue at the Empire extravaganza in New York.

Pietro is a very fine alpaca. (he was 18.5 Micron at 1-1/2 years old and just at 21.5 at nearly 3 years of age. ) With incredible luster and very high frequency crimp Pietro is abundantly covered with this fine fiber from his top-knot to his toes. He adds tremendous fineness to his offspring.
