Hunter (Estrada's Hunter of Island Alpaca)

Hunter won First Place at the 2015 VAOBA Expo Spin-Off!

Hunter has some very beautiful fleece. He's got a great crimp style that is tight and uniform. It's bright and nicely dense. He's got a wonderful conformation and phenotype. He's thick-boned and has a great top-knot. Hunter is very well halter trained.

He's a very sweet and curious boy who enjoys giving shy kisses. A lovely disposition Hunter has!

His sire is CT Estrada who has won multiple champions and blues!

Dam:

Audrey's Little Hottie

ARI#: 3084290

Heritage: Peruvian and Chilean

Color: Light Brown

Audrey's Hottie is the culmination of two well known and well respected breeding programs here in the Northeast. She is a wonderful animal terrific disposition, good density, and a high frequency crimp-style.

Mariah Alpacas and Mirage all had a hand in creating this incredible gem. Earlah's MA Lady Collina bred under the discriminating eye of Audrey Rhoades to HHF Kenamori's Felipe produced this outstanding female.

Audrey's Hottie is also a bundle of energy. She is the first to greet, and is incredibly social, often used as the alpaca "spokes-person" for our "Meet and Greet" with the public. She loves brushing her nose with yours and she makes a great cuddle buddy!

Hottie gave birth to her first offspring, May 20, 2010. Estrada's Hanne, a light brown female cria, with a solid, and very dense soft blanket, with a strong Igg.

She is an extremely attentive mother, with plenty of milk - always communicating with her baby, never letting her cria out of her site!

Audrey's Hottie had been bred to our very own CT Estrada to result in one of our finest. A 12.9 micron male named Hot Shot. Absolutely amazing! Estrada and Hottie have done it again!

Sire:

CT Estrada

ARI#: 30522619

Heritage: Full Peruvian

Color: Medium Fawn

Estrada is a well-balanced male from two top parents. His Sire, Evander does it again with this amazingly dense, fine fleece male with a great handle and luster, extensive coverage and a great body. With his 2012 shearing, Estrada had over 12.6 pounds of fleece sheared off. Amazing!!

Alpaca judge, Wade Gease has said about Estrada, "He is the "complete package". Very nice fleece style and crimp formation throughout. He has kept his fineness/softness." Also, Judge David Barboza has said about Estrada: "His architecture and density is incredible! Spot on!" And Alpaca Fleece Judge, Cheryl Gehly has written: "Wow! Fine with great character! Quite uniform for micron.""Beautiful Fleece: fine, bright, well organized!". Awarding him first place in the competition, and again, after the fleeces third showing at the 2009 Empire Symposium and Fleece Event, she commented again;"Beautiful Fleece: fine, bright, well organized!". Most recent fleece circuit, Estrada's fleece (its fourth showing) took yet another blue at PAOBA show, May, 2009.

To date, Estrada has eight multiple Champ/Reserve Championships, and 27 first-place, blue-ribbon awards. See the details of his show record below, most in very competitive classes!

In 2009, Estrada's Fleece won the reserve Championship, and took first place in his class over another amazing alpaca who won the 2008 Futurity Championship that had 54 entries in the class!

Both dam and sire have produced Championship winners so his future is extremely promising indeed.
