  • Bosco running in excitement on his Birth Day!

Bosco (Estrada's Bosco of Island Alpaca)

Bosco won First Place out of eight other alpaca at the very competitive North American Alpaca Show in 2013. Amazing! At the Big E in 2013 Bosco took home another Blue Ribbon for Bred and Owned!

Bosco has very fine and uniform fleece that has a long staple and is nicely dense. He has a great conformation with nice straight legs and a strong frame. He's a curious boy who enjoys touching his nose to yours.

At the North American Alpaca Show in 2013 Bosco and another alpaca were very close when it came to getting the blue ribbon. The judge looked very carefully and in the end Bosco won first because he had more uniformity in his stomach area.

Bosco has some great genetics with his sire CT Estrada has won multiple champions and blues. Bosco's great grandfather is the well known Snowmass Andean Bronze and Snowmass Nova.

LINEAGE RECORDS:
Dam:

Bella Notte

Bella is an outstanding bay-black animal. Her sire the notable Andean bronze and her dam Nova's Twilight has gifted her her upright stance and undeniable presence.

Andean Bronze is that exceptional dark colored alpaca whose fiber is like velvet. With a four year histogram of 20.5, 4.0, 19.6, 2.0, he has fiber stats that surpass the vast majority of his light colored brethren. He has shown the ability to consistently pass those attributes onto his offspring, such as Bella, who have been a dominant force on the show circuit for a while now. The premier brown Herd Sire of the North American Alpaca Stud with very good reason.
Sire:

CT Estrada

ARI#: 30522619

Heritage: Full Peruvian

Color: Medium Fawn

Estrada is a well-balanced male from two top parents. His Sire, Evander does it again with this amazingly dense, fine fleece male with a great handle and luster, extensive coverage and a great body. With his 2012 shearing, Estrada had over 12.6 pounds of fleece sheared off. Amazing!!

Alpaca judge, Wade Gease has said about Estrada, "He is the "complete package". Very nice fleece style and crimp formation throughout. He has kept his fineness/softness." Also, Judge David Barboza has said about Estrada: "His architecture and density is incredible! Spot on!" And Alpaca Fleece Judge, Cheryl Gehly has written: "Wow! Fine with great character! Quite uniform for micron.""Beautiful Fleece: fine, bright, well organized!". Awarding him first place in the competition, and again, after the fleeces third showing at the 2009 Empire Symposium and Fleece Event, she commented again;"Beautiful Fleece: fine, bright, well organized!". Most recent fleece circuit, Estrada's fleece (its fourth showing) took yet another blue at PAOBA show, May, 2009.

To date, Estrada has eight multiple Champ/Reserve Championships, and 27 first-place, blue-ribbon awards. See the details of his show record below, most in very competitive classes!

In 2009, Estrada's Fleece won the reserve Championship, and took first place in his class over another amazing alpaca who won the 2008 Futurity Championship that had 54 entries in the class!

Both dam and sire have produced Championship winners so his future is extremely promising indeed.
