Nina (Nina of Island Alpaca)

Nina won First Place at the Big E Alpaca Fleece Show in 2015!

Nina is a compact alpaca and growing. She has a strong personality and very fine and lustrous fleece, boasting a micron of an incredibly low 15.2 with a deviation of only 3.8%. Impressive!

She's a confident girl who really enjoys being by her dam's side. Her dam has won a ribbon in a very competitive show, and we can expect the same for Nina. Her grandsire is multiple Champion and blue ribbon winner, CT Estrada. Her great granddam is Snowmass Midnight's Gold who has produced show-stoppers for us.

Nina has an impressive genetic line! This includes Snowmass Royal Rose, a champion male who's sire is the very famous Peruvian Hemingway, and Peruvian Avalanche!

Estrada's Nicola of Island Alpaca

Heritage: Peruvian and Chilean

Nicola won second at the, very competitive, North American Alpaca Show in 2011!

Nicola is a very beautiful brown female who has a great disposition! Like her dam Nightengale she has become a very nurturing and attentive mother.

Her fleece is very fine and bright with great uniform; look at the judge comments below! Her sire is CT Estrada who has won multiple champions and blues.

Nicola's granddam is Snowmass Midnight's Gold who has produced show-stoppers for us. (Her first offspring, Andean Midnight was the highest paid maiden female alpaca in the world at the time, selling for $100,000 at auction).

Judge Jude Anderson commented: "Very bright, fine, and uniform fleece".

IL Tesoro of Island Alpaca

Tesoro is a great looking alpaca with pure white fleece that is very bright and dense. His fleece has a tight crimp and he has a long staple length. He's got a wonderful conformation, he is nicely thick-boned, and has a perfect bite.

He produces a great deal of fleece and we are excited to see how much he will shear off this year. Tesoro is well halter trained and he has amazing genetics!
